Christmas Light Installation

This service is all-inclusive and completely hands-off for you. We will first send you a free design & quote for your home with a basic package plus some optional add-ons. The basic package consists of lights installed on the front roofline of your house only. We will also include in the design optional add-ons such as a wreath, mini-lights for pillars, and stake lighting around your flower beds. The add-ons are completely optional. The price in the quote includes all materials (lights, timers, extension cords, clips, etc.), installation, maintenance and removal after the holiday season is over.

No! We use commercial-grade LED lighting that is much brighter, higher quality, and that can be cut to fit your home perfectly and in any color pattern you choose. The problem with the lights you buy in stores is that the way they are wired, it is impossible to cut them without destroying them. Also, the quality is very poor and they only last an average of 1 to 3 years.

They don't! On average, they use about 90% less electricity than traditional incandescent bulbs. Each one of our large C9 LED bulbs only uses about 0.7 watts of electricity, compared to 7 watts for the same C9 in incandescent. You'll be using pennies a day for your Christmas lights instead of dollars, with far fewer tripped breakers and blown fuses.

Absolutely! You can choose a traditional warm or cool white, traditional multi-color, or any pattern you like — a candy cane pattern with red and white bulbs, green and red, blue and white, Coastal Carolina University teal, or any combination you can imagine. We can even get bulbs that change colors! If you sign up for multiple years, it is free to change the color scheme each year.

We are usually able to get to most installations within 1–2 weeks of receiving a deposit. The exception would be custom-order lights for your home and, even then, we typically have your house installed within 2 weeks after receiving the deposit. Installations begin in November, and early-bird bookings get first pick of dates.

Unfortunately, no. Store-bought lights can't be customized, so it is very hard to have a clean, professional installation, and we couldn't warranty or guarantee them. The only exceptions we make are if you have a wreath or a few blow-up yard decorations you want installed. We only install our lights on rooflines, pillars, and around your beds.

No. You are only paying for the service. We provide our lights as part of the service so there is nothing for you to buy, maintain, or replace.

Typical installation on a normal roofline takes a 2-man crew between 3–5 hours. As the difficulty goes up and other things such as tree wraps are added, it can push that to a day or more.

We typically leave the lights up until the middle of January and have all of them removed by the first week of February.

The price of our service starts at $499. If you are okay with the initial package sent to you, we would be happy to schedule a time to come out and talk about any other ideas you might have, like adding garland, lighting trees and bushes, etc.

On most installations we require a 50% deposit, and may require more if you choose custom lights or decorations. The balance is due at the time of installation. Payments can be made online through the invoice that will be sent to you after approval.

Yes! We offer up to 15% off with a multi-year service agreement. If you sign up for 2 years, you get a 10% discount this year and next year. If you sign up for 3 years, you get a 15% discount this year and the next two years. New customers who book by October 31 also get our 15% Early Bird discount.
